WHISPERING PINES - Fred Russell Van Sant, 79, of Whispering Pines died Friday at his residence. He was a legal and administrative assistant to the president of Coca-Cola in the Latin America region.
He was preceeded in death by his wife, Romayne. Surviving are son, Frederick B. Van Sant II of St. Paul, Minn.; daughter, Adair V. New of Plymouth, Minn.; sister, Elsie Van Sant of Decatur, Ga.; and three grandchildren..
