May E. Asbacher,87, Excelsior Springs, MO., died on Wednesday July 14, 2004, at Liberty Hospital in Liberty,Mo.

Mrs.Asbacher was born on January 11, 1917, in New York City, N.Y., the daughter of Henry and Rose (Frees) Wilvert.

She had lived in Excelsior Springs for the past 10 years.

She was a Protestant.

She was a homemaker and had worked for many years as a sales clerk for Gimbles Department Store in New Jersey.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Asbacher, in 1969.

Survivors include one son, Robert H. Asbacher, Excelsior Springs; two grandchildren, Robert W. Asbacher and Christan Martin, both of Liberty; and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30am on Saturday, July 17, at First Baptist Church in Excelsior Springs; burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Westchester County, N.Y.

The family will greet friends from 9 a.m. until the time of the service at the church.

Arrangements are through Prichard-Runyan Funeral Home in Excelsior Springs.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.

This was a lady that was very nice and me and my parents knew her when she lived in Barrington,NJ at the Willows in the same apartment complex as me and my parents lived in 1202. She will be missed by many.
