Sandra "Sandy" Kendrick, age 52, of Mesquite, Texas, died Thursday, September 11, 2008 at the Medical City Hospital in Dallas, Texas. A daughter of June Campbell of Delaware, Arkansas, and the late Jehu Lee Campbell, she was born July 4, 1956 in Paris, Arkansas. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Delaware.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Gary Kendrick; a son and daughter-in-law, Derek and Alesha Kendrick of Lake Jackson, Texas; a daughter and son-in-law, Miranda and John Harris of West Columbia, Texas; three brothers: Kirby Campbell, Darrell Campbell and Mark Campbell, all of Delaware; two sisters: Karen Sisco of Little Rock; and Tammi Richardson of Lake Jackson; and four grandchildren: Brittani and Mason Kendrick, both of Lake Jackson; and Savannah and Xander Harris, both of West Columbia.
The funeral will be at 10 A.M. on Monday, September 15, 2008 at the First Baptist Church of Delaware, officiated by the Rev. Wylie Jones. Burial will be in Graves Cemetery near Delaware, by Shinn Funeral Service.
Active pallbearers will be Kirby, Darrel and Mark Campbell, Derek and Mason Kendrick, Bryce Sisco, Chad Richardson and Xander Harris.
The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon, from 4 to 5 P.M., at the funeral home.
