12/21/1919 Grant Pioneer Is Buried at Lamont (Saturday)
Medford, Dec. 20 - Funeral services were held at the Methodist church here for James Louis Armstrong, 72 years old, Grant county pioneer, who died following an extended illness Burial was made in the Lamont cemetery.
Armstrong moved to Oklahoma at the opening of the Cherokee strip for settlement and lived at Helena and Lamont before moving to Medford. He is survived by two daughters and four sons.
