Oneonta, Ala., Nov. 29 - Funeral services for Bura R. Towns, 66, of Oneonta, were held today at Lester Memorial Methodist Church.
Mr. Towns died Sunday at his home after a heart attack.
He was a native of Blount County.
The Rev. Paul Doyle officiated at services today. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery, Lemley Funeral Home directing.
Surviving Mr. Towns are his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Beasley Towns of Oneonta; three sons, Howard Towns and Tony Towns, both of Oneonta, and Bob Towns of Corpus Christi, Tex.; two daughters, Mrs. Alma Allen of Corpus Christi, Tex., and Mrs. Inez Owens of Oneonta; two brothers, Dr. T. M. Towns and W. C. Towns; a sister, Mrs. J. W. Gibbs, all of Oneonta.
