---D. W. Bellmyer, seventy-seven, died at his home Friday morning from injuries received in an automobile accident Wednesdy evening while returning to his home when the car he was riding overturned west of La Plata.
---Mr. Bellmyer is survived by his wife and six children, Mrs. Jack Lene of LaCrosse, Mrs. Emily Guthrie of Pueblo, Colorado, Tom Bellmyer of Pueblo, Colorado, Levi, Henry and John at home.
---Funeral services were held at the family home west of La Plata on Sunday at noon, conducted by Rev. Bell of Elmer. Burial was made in the Bell cemetery.

---Daniel W. Bellmyer, son of John and Nancy Bellmyer, was born December 22, 1858, died August 28, 1936 at the age of seventy-seven years, eight months and six days.
---He was married to Elizabeth N. Gunnels on April 8, 1888. to this union was born nine children, Thomas A. Bellmyer of Yodder, Colorado, Mrs. Jack Lene of La Crosse, Missouri, Mrs. Emma Guthrie, Pueblo, Colorado, Levi, Henry and John at home; three others, Minnie, Maggie and Rosa have preceded him in death. He also leaves fifteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren to mourn his loss. There are also two brothers, Henry Bellmyer of Deepwater, Missouri and George Bellmyer of Illinois; one sister, Maggie Wolf of Granola, Kansas and a host of other relatives and friends.
---He united with the Methodist Church in the year of 1895.
---Funeral services were held at the home on Sunday, conducted by Rev. Bell of Elmer. Burial was made at Bell Cemetery.
