Preceded in death by his parents, Henry J. and Anna F. (Dierker) Becker, brothers John A and Louis H Becker, and sister Lucille C. Becker.
Mr. Becker was a veteran of World War II, and served aboard the 801st Army Navy Repair Unit on the USS William F. Fitch in Hollandia, New Guinea.
He was a longtime player and coach for Meramec Sports, St Anthony Athletic Association and St Gabriel Athletic Association, and was a semifinalist in the 1938 St Louis Golden Gloves Competition.
Mr. Becker was a 50 year member and former trustee, and founding member of Carpenters District Council Local 5, and was still active in the Des Peres and Kirkwood Community Center Seniors' Pool Tournament.
