Eda L. Jenkinson, age 94, died on January 8, 1990 at her residence.

Born July 14, 1895 in Arbuckle, Calif. to Thomas J. and Ada Evans Shellhammer. Married Alma H. Jenkinson on September 9, 1929 in San Francisco, Calif. She was an active member of First Congregational Church and was particularly involved with various women's charitable and fundraising organizations. A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, in younger years was an avid golfer and bowler, and a member of the Forest Dale Country Club and original Fort Douglas Golf Club.

Survived by: Daughter, Mrs. DeMar P. (Betty) Allred, and son-in-law, DeMar P. Allred; four grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, January 10, 1990 at Evans & Early Mortuary, 574 East 100 South.
Interment will be in the Salt Lake City Cemetery.
