Graveside services for Mrs. Julia E. Wingate, 75, of Kaufman and formerly of Palestine, will be at 3 p.m. today at Roselawn Cemetery with Dan Manuel officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Herrington/Land of Memory. Mrs. Wingate died Friday in a Kaufman hospital after a brief illness. She was born in Dallas on Oct. 31, 1915, a daughter of B.F. and Zella Holder Walton. She worked for many years with Kroger Foods in Houston. She was a member of Crockett Road Church of Christ and had resided in Palestine for 16 years. She is survived by her sisters, Nettie Pugh of Dallas, and Frankie Thompson of Lake Whitney.
