Funeral services for Jack W. Carl, 77, of Marionville, will be held at 2 p.m. Sept. 2, 2008, at Manlove-Stumpff Chapel, in Crane, with the Rev. Stanley Clark officiating. Burial will be in Bradford Charity Cemetery under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Homes.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Sept. 1, 2008, in the funeral home.
He died Aug. 28, 2008, in St. John's Regional Health Center, in Springfield.
He was born June 24, 1931, in Stone County, son of Ott and Anna (Noel) Carl. He was a lifelong resident of the area and a retired truck driver. He was a member of the VFW Post #5686, in Billings.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Vesta; son, Terry Jay Carl; and sister, Bertha Ellis.
Survivors include son, Gary D. Carl, of Marionville; daughters, Linda Anderson, of Crane, Patti Finley, of Aurora, Brenda Lee Bell, Sandy Kay Lanning and Debra Sue Spears, all of North Bradford, Conn.; sisters, Dorothy Gold, of Crane, and Betty Perrish, of Walnut Grove; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
