Sandra was born in Milford, Utah in 1936 to Nils Martin Johnson and Dora Audrin Stoddard. She was the last of 7 children as follows:

She was raised and attended school in Milford. She was gregarious and social in her community. She was a High School class officer and leader of the Milford Tigers Club. Upon graduating from High School in 1954 she moved to Salt Lake City with her school mates Sally Killam, Betty Ferguson, Catherine Sherrif, and Genevieve Sherrif where they shared an apartment near the State Capital building.
She worked for ZCMI first in the Health drink service bar, and then soon was transferred into the business accounting office where she complied statistics using a comptometer and reported to management.

In 1956 she met and was later married to Clifford Harold Pedersen on Jan 4, 1957 in Murray, Utah.

They resided in the Avenues in Salt Lake, then in Murray, Utah, and then bought a small home in South Salt Lake City, Utah.

She was gifted musically. Her parents had given her a Hamilton Grand Upright Piano when she was very young which she played at home.
She was a member of the Salt Lake chapter of the Sweet Adeline's, a barber shop singing group.

She loved music and would sing and dance. .

She was well liked and social within her community in South Salt Lake. She served several years as a volunteer worker (Pink Lady) at the Cottonwood Hospital in Murray, Utah.

She was the mother of 5 children:

Kristin Marie Pedersen
Karma Lee Pedersen
Karen Diane Pedersen

She died in 1968 in South Salt Lake, Utah

Funeral services for Sandra Gail Pedersen 32, 470 E. Robert Avenue will be held Wednesday at noon at 8090 S. State St. Where friends may call Tueday 7-9 p.m., Wednesday one hour prior to services. Burial Riverton Cemetery.
She died August 25 in her home.
