FARMINGTON, IL - Betty J. Hall, 89, of Farmington died at 11:05 a.m. Friday, Oct. 24, 2008, at Graham Hospital in Canton, IL.

She was born Feb. 13, 1919, in Farmington to Forest and Susan (Harrison) Tonkin. She married Guy W. Hall. He preceded her in death on Jan. 27, 1965.

She is survived by one son, Vaughn (Shirley) Suydam of Farmington; three grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one grandson; one brother, Jack H. Tonkin; and one sister, Grace V. Provard.

Cremation rites have been accorded. There will be a graveside service at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 30, 2008, at the Oak Ridge Cemetery in Farmington. The Rev. Jarrett Wells will officiate.

Memorials may be made to the Farmington Rescue Squad.
