Mr. Brown was retired from Natural Gas Pipeline Company in 1983, a Sergeant in the United States Air Force serving in World War II, and was an active member of Trinity Baptist Church. He loved the Trinity Troopers and enjoyed the Fishers of Men Sunday School Class.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Juanita Brown; one daughter, Linda Lingo and her husband, Joe, of Malvern, AR; one son, Ernie Brown and his wife, Tawna, of Midlothian, TX; four grandchildren, Angie Lingo Richardson of Hot Springs, AR, David Lingo of Malvern, AR, Wes Brown of Rio Vista, TX, and Jerod Brown of Houston, TX; three great-grandchildren, Cheyenne, Sierra, and Logan Brown, and a number of special nieces.
Funeral services will be held 10 am Monday, November 3, 2008, at the Texarkana Funeral Home Chapel, Arkansas, with the Revs. Wallace Edgar and Bill Saxby officiating. Burial will be in East Memorial Gardens.
