Lewis (my grandfather) was a farmer and was first married to Lola Turner who died during childbirth of twins who also died. They had a son who died as a child as a result of falling off a small wagon and hitting his head on a rock. I will add his name if I find out what it was. They had one other son Earl Swanson who moved to Fl. He (Lewis) later married Sylvia Faith Gosser McFarland (my grandmother) who had also lost her mate. Together they had a daughter (they named Mae but listed as infant)who was still born who is buried next to them. They had two other daughters, Alice and Alpha Gay (who is my mother).

My favorite memories of my grandfather are taking walks with him, playing checkers and watching gunsmoke.

If anyone has or needs further information on this line please email me. My address is on my bio page.
