Mary Theola Peacock, 83, a good and faithful servant was called to be with the Lord on Sunday, Nov. 25, 2007, following a lengthy illness.
Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church of Benbrook. Interment: Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Greenwood Funeral Home.
Mary was born April 11, 1924, in Erath County. She was a dedicated wife and mother. A charter member of First Baptist Church of Benbrook, she actively served the Lord for 50 years. She also was a beloved nurse who generously provided care to anyone in the community who needed her service. She brought joy and thanksgiving to her family and those who knew her.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Perry H. Peacock.
Survivors: Daughters, Mary Evelyn Wainwright and husband, Dennis, of Houston and Joyce Bendele and husband, Bob, of Devine; grandson, Jeffery Wainwright and wife, Vanna, and great-granddaughter, Breanna, and great-grandson, Corbin, of Tooele, Utah; grandson, Jason Wainwright and wife, Amy, and great-granddaughters, Ava and Ella, of Arlington; grandson, Bryan Bendele and wife, Benicia, and great-granddaughters, Avery and Bailey, of Liberty; grandson, Travis Bendele and wife, Cody, and great-granddaughter, Isabelle, and great-grandson, Keller, of Montgomery; granddaughter, Christie Bendele of Dallas; sisters, Maxine Andrishek of Conroe and Betty Sanders of Kansas; and extended family, Jimmy, Cindy, Chad and Clay Peterson of Benbrook.
