William David Feather of 2916 West Chestnut avenue, for thirty-nine years a signal department employe of the Pennsylvania railroad, died at 7.35 o'clock last night at his home. He suffered from a complication of diseases.

Mr. Feather was born at Duncansville on Dec. 24, 1875, a son of David and Barbara (Lingenfelter) Feather. He was married on April 6, 1899, to Miss Myrtle Kuhn. Surviving are the wife and the following children: Mrs. James A. Sandrus, Mrs. Lloyd M. Fleck, Mrs. Lee E. Goebler and Mrs. Harold R. Smith, all of Altoona, and Earl Feathers, at home; seven grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Ellis Zimmers, Blair A. Feather, Mrs. Hayes Buck, John H. and Mary A.Feather, all of Altoona.

He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran church. Friends will be received at the home after 7 o'clock tonight. The funeral of William David Feather of 2916 West Chestnut avenue will be held from the St. Paul's Lutheran church with services Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock in charge of Rev. J.L. Barnes. Interment will follow in Carson Valley cemetery.
