A native of Arkadelphia, AR., he was a member of the Army National Guard. A member of the Baptist faith and a cabinet carpenter for Halter Marine, he died December 3.
He is survived by three daughters, Gloria Ann Dillard and Tammy T. Gutierrez, both of Lucedale and Helen Sue Wilson of Jackson; two sons, Johnny Paul Adams of Jackson and Jonathan Doyle Adams of Pascagoula and five grandchildren.
Interment was held at Barton Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Bill Barton officiating the services.
