Turner is the man standing next to the woman and the little boy on the far right hand side is the son of Turner, Tom Frank.
Turner Forrest, 66, well-known Rotan area rancher, died of an apparent heart attack at 11:30 a.m. Friday at his ranch headquarters 18 miles northwest of here. (Rotan)
He has been the manager of the J. S. Criswell Ranch in Scurry and Fisher counties since 1934.
Funeral will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church at Rotan, with a second service at 2 p. m. Sunday at the Round Timber community near Seymour.
Officiating at the Rotan services will be the Rev. E. L. Redding, pastor of Clairmont Baptist Church, and the Rev. Dale Dozier of Justiceburg. Rev. Redding will also conduct the Round Timber services.
Burial will be in Round Timber Cemetery under direction of Weathersbee Funeral Home of Rotan.
Born Dec. 14, 1896 (obit states 1897 in error), at Cresson in Hood County, he married Alta McWhorter on Apr. 7, 1937 in Haskell. He was a member of the Clairmont Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, a son Tommy of Justiceburg, and two grandaughters.
Pallbearers will be Delray, J. R., Wayne and Joe Helms, Jesse Hardin, Floyd Reed, Bruce Cox and Weldon Johnson.
