BUTNER -- Mrs. OLGA Longmire Beasley OVERTON, 88, a resident of 503 W. C St., died Saturday, February 20, at her residence.

A native of Granville County, she was the daughter of the late Noah and Margaret Mangum Longmire. Her first marriage was to Albert Beasley, Sr., who preceded her in death. She was a member of Oak Ridge Baptist Church and was retired from John Umstead Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Eakes Funeral Chapel in Creedmoor by Rev. Tommy Robertson. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Oxford.

Surviving are her husband, Allie L. OVERTON, of Henderson; two daughters, Joanne B. Hockett, of Butner, and Charlotte B. Bowden, of Angier; four sons, Thomas G. Beasley, Sr., of Cary, Albert M. Beasley, Jr., of Butner, Danny S. Beasley, of Stem, and Clifton Beasley, of Creedmoor; two step-daughters, Sally Ann VanDyke and Mary Candace Moss, both of Kittrell; a sister, Frances L. Grissom, of Rockingham; two brothers, Caster Longmire, of Barrie, Ontario, Canada, and Nelson Longmire, of Henderson; 22 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. Bobby Lee Beasley, a son, preceded her in death, as did a daughter, Ruth B. Depree.
