John W. Freeman - 88 years old, of Proctorville, died yesterday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Adrian Brown, with whom he resided. Mr. Freeman was a member of the Pomaria Baptist Church. Additional survivors include six other daughters, Mrs. Carrie Adkins of Huntington, Mrs. Myrtie Stephens and Mrs. Wilda Hagley of Proctorville, Mrs. Maude Hagley of Detroit, MI, Mrs. Lillie Thompson of Columbus, Ohio, and Mrs. Lesta Keeney of Glendale, Ohio; six sons, Harold, Alden and Kelly Freeman of Chesapeake, Carl Freeman of Huntington, WV, Charley Freeman of Scottown, Ohio, and Everrett Freeman of Proctorville, Ohio; a brother James of Kayford, and a sister Mrs. Hilda (Hulda) Henson of Chesapeake, Ohio. The body is at the Schneider Funeral Home in Chesapeake, Ohio.
