Reba Jordan Griffith, daughter of Roy and Alva (Gilbert) Jordan, was born Aug 7, 1901, in Denison, Iowa, and passed away on Dec. 8, 1992, at Sedalia, Mo. Services were held at the First Presbyterian Church, Battle Creek, with Rev. Benjamin Ray officiating. Burial was in the Mt. Hope Cemetery, Battle Creek.

She married Russell Ray Griffith on Jan. 27, 1931, in South Sioux City, Nebraska. She was a member of various Presbyterian Churches, Daughters of the American Revolution, Order of Eastern Star, Alpha Phi Mothers Club and Veterans Administration Hospital Volunteer Corps.

Survivors include a son, Ray C. Griffith; 2 daughters, Jane Schwickrath of Sedalia and Gail Lovell of Charlotte, N.C.; 7 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Allison Lovell,
