Lily had a beauty beyond comparison and a charm that surpassed all others. She had the biggest, most beautiful eyes; they were hypnotizing. She had an infectious smile that will be forever engraved into everyone's hearts. Lily was full of energy, was sassy, incredibly smart beyond her years, and most of all, she was a true little lady. Her mommy adored her and her angelic nature.
Lily began to walk just before her 10 month mark and her vocabulary was very broad. She would talk and talk and talk, non-stop. She was always the complete center of attention, as she deserved to be. Lily May was the brightest star of everyone's life and she will be dearly missed.
Lily May was a member of Faith Lutheran Church of Lakeland, Fl and was baptized on September 7, 2008. She was adored by the congregation and often helped Pastor Bev Short give the sermons. Lily was a chatter-box, but knew exactly what she was talking about.
In Lily's passing on the early morning of October 31, 2008, Lily May Edwards is survived by her parents Steven and April Edwards, Family and many friends from near and far.
Lily May is survived by Steven and April Edwards, her Grandparents Sandra and Jim Stafford, Tim Sutton, Sandra Keller. Her Uncles Andrew Sutton, Samuel Stafford, Chuck and Allan Edwards, Aunts Crystal Vonkuehlman and Angel Edwards. Her Great Aunts Brenda Gordon and Dot Kirkland, and Great Uncles, Nelson Kirkland and Darrel Gordon. Her cousins Aurora Vonkuehlman and Brijett Sutton.
Funeral Services will be held at Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home 1727 US 98 South/Bartow Hwy on Tuesday, November 4, 2008. Viewing will take place at 1pm and Services will begin at 2pm. Immediately afterwards, Lily May Edwards will be laid to rest at Springhead Cemetery at the intersection of County Line Rd. and Medulla Rd.
