Pearl L. Dager, 88 years old of Convoy, Ohio, passed away on Friday, October 13, 2006 at her residence following a ten-month illness. She had been a resident of rural Convoy since 1940 and had wintered in Pinellas Park, Florida for many years.
She was born on Saturday, February 9, 1918 in Harlan, Indiana the daughter of the late David Ringenberg and the late Clara (Rediger) Ringenberg. She married Walter C. "Shorty" Dager on December 22, 1934. They celebrated 71 years of marriage this past December.

She was a member of East Liberty United Methodist Church and was a retired farm wife and homemaker.

Surviving are her husband, Walter C. "Shorty" Dager of Convoy, Ohio and her sister-in-law, Ilif Herman of Florida.

Preceding Pearl in death were one brother, Albert Ringenberg and one sister, Gladys Young.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 16, 2006 in the East Liberty United Methodist Church with Rev. Rick Borgman officiating. Interment will follow in the Monroeville Memorial Cemetery.

Friends will be received from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, October 15 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel, Monroeville, Indiana and one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday.

Preferred memorials are to East Liberty United Methodist Church.
