Our beloved mother and wife entered into eternity October 28, 2008 at the age of 79. She was preceded in death by son David, daughter Rebecca and husband of 53 years Raphael. Barbara was born in Lakeview, OR March 12, 1929. In 1952 she graduated from The Dalles School of Nursing and married Raphael E. Welp. Mother to eight sons, four daughters, 20 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She lived in the Spokane area for 32 years. Barbara found great strength in her never ending devotion to her Catholic faith. Her greatest joys in life were her family and husband Raphael. Her interests included music and reading.
