Mrs. Bertha Kratsch, aged 63, widow of the late Herman Kratsch and mother of former City Solicitor George W. Kratsch, died at 1 o'clock this morning, following acerebral hemorrhage. The funeral will take place Friday afternoon. Services will be held at the house, 107 Henry Street, at 1 o'clock, and at St. Paul's Lutheran Church at 1:30, the Rev. L.H. Burry officiating.
Mrs. Kratsch was born in 1848 in Saxony, Germany, coming to this country with her parents when a little girl. She had always lived in Stark county, first living in Wilmot and for the last 21 years being a resident of Massillon. She was married to Herman Kratsch in 1870. She is survived by four sons, Henry, Oscar, George and Herbert; one daughter, Miss Emma Kratsch; two grandchildren, Priscilla and Helen Kratsch; one sister, Mrs. Pauline Kutchbach, of Cleveland, and one brother, Louis F. Boerngen, of Austinburg.
