Elizabeth E. Shapter, age 90, Monday, July 6, 1981, First Community Village Convalarium. Life long resident of Columbus. 54 years Franklinton at 698 W. Broad St, 35 years at W. 6th Ave near Grandview Ave. and 1 year at First Community Village. Retired employee of Huntington National bank having been employed there from July 1918 to 1955. Charter member of Huntington 25 year Club. Preceded in death by parents, Philip P. and Rosena Shapter; brothers, Walter T., Winfield H., George H. Shapter Sr; sister Martha Shapter Bean. Survived by sister Ruth Shapter Cram, Beaver Dam, Wis.; cousin Walter J. Shapter Jr., Columbus; 5 nephews and their wives, Robert D. and Doris Shapter, North Muskegum, Mich., Paul W. and Helen Shapter, Auburn, Mass., Alan R. and Barbara Shapter, Cold Springs Ky., David E. and Ruth Shapter, Erie, Pa., George H. Jr. and Kathleen Shapter, Worthington, additionally survived by 13 great nieces and nephews, including locally, Robert M., Mark A., and Peter D Shapter. Member First Community Church, Thea Court #5, L.O.S.N.A. and Lorraine Chapter # 1 OES. Friends may call SOUTHWICK FUNERAL CHAPEL, 3100 N.
