Obit "Lou Allen Dies in Kansas City"
Funeral services for Lou Montgomery Allen, 56, former North Litchfield resident, who died Tuesday in a Kansas City hospital following an extended illness, were held this afternoon at the Pleasant Hill church with Rev L. A. Crown, pastor of the local Christian church in charge. Burial was made in the Pleasant Hill cemetery.
Until a short time ago, Mr. Allen had resided with his daughter Mrs. Charles Duncan and his father Gilbert Allen who live east of Hillsboro.
Besides the aged father, two sons survive him; Gilbert Allen and Vaughn Allen of Glenwood Springs, Colo. He is also survived by two brother and five sisters; Paul Allen of Vancouver, Wash, and Abel Allen of Sacramento, Calif; Mrs. Stella Duncan, Hillsboro, Mrs. Bertha Parsch of Elyria, Ohio; Mrs. Lillian Philo, St. Paul; Mrs. Gertrude Barnett, Los Angeles and Mrs. Chassie Peterson of Sacramento, Calif.
