Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. today at the Athens City Cemetery with McConnell Funeral Home in charge. The Rev. Hershel Blalock will officiate.
Mr. Sanderson was a retired metal worker at Martin Stamping & Stove Co. and a member of the West Huntsville Baptist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Betty S. Clem of Athens, Mrs. Carolyn Purser of Huntsville and Mrs. Elizabeth Blackmon of Handorf, Germany; two sisters, Mrs. Lena Sanders and Mrs. Amie Thorneberry, both of Capshaw; a brother, C. W. Sanderson of Athens; and four grandchildren.
