Also, recorded in the 1860 Federal Census for Fayette Township, Juniata County, Pennsylvania, taken on 6 Jul 1860, Mary's age was recorded as one year old.

Mary "Mollie" Malin was the daughter of G. Washington Malin and Mary B. Youart. From 1887 to 1904, she was married to Harry W. Nehr of Lancaster, Pennsylvania. She was a seamstress and dressmaker.

The body of Miss Mollie Mahlin, sister of Henry and Corbin Mahlin of Walnut, was brought here from Elgin, Illinois, Tuesday, the burial taking place at Walnut cemetery Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock.
Miss Mahlin was born at McAlisterville, Juniata County, Pennsylvania, May 23, 1860 and died July 9, 1916, aged 56 years, 1 month and 17 days. She leaves one sister, Mrs. Anna Chandler of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and four brothers, Henry and Corbin of Walnut, George Mahlin of David City, Nebraska and Al Mahin of Pueblo, Colorado. Besides the brothers Henry and Corbin and Mrs. Dodd and her daughters and her brother Mr. Harry L. Krebs of Manlius there was present Mr. Jack Kurtz of Rockford, in whose home Miss Mahlin had resided for some time before removing to Elgin.
The burial was also attended by a considerable number of Walnut friends. Services were conducted at the grave by Pastor Slaten.
