Alice was the daughter of Rose(Gregory) & Marion Klott of Columbus Ohio. She was born and raised in what was then called "Franklinton" where her father was a police officer. She had many brothers and sisters. Alice married Robert Gent and raised 6 children. 4 boys, and 2 girls. Her youngest daughter,is my mother Patricia. The family enjoyed traveling and lived in many states including: New Mexico,Florida and California. Alice worked as a waitress to the stars in West Hollywood California in the 1950s-1960s. She loved to roller skate on the beach. She always thought it was pretty special that she was born the exact date and year as one of her favorite singers Pasty Cline.
June 3rd 1990 grandma was working as a housekeeper where she has been employed for many years at Knights Inn in Reynoldsburg and died from a massive heart attack. She was young and healthy and it was a total shock to our family. Not a day goes by that she is not remembered and greatly missed. WE LOVE YOU GRANDMA.
