Kelty O'Brien, who would have turned forty-six, Saturday
was shot and killed in an apparent car-jacking, on his way to work Friday morning, November 7, 2008.
He was the brother of a St. Louis policeman, Mark O'Brien, who rejoined the force in 2006 at the age of 50; and the son of the late Charlie O'Brien, who was a retired St. Louis city police lieutenant.
Kelty O'Brien worked at his sister's delivery service, Keane's Express, according to a co-worker.
It happened in south St. Louis, near Bent and Parker, in the Tower Grove South neighborhood.
