Fall Proves Fatal
TULSA, July 4.--(AP)--Burns and a fall of 25 feet from a light pole on which he was working early Friday morning proved fatal to Alva Clingman, 33, an employee of the public service company of Tulsa. Clingman died in a hospital late this afternoon. The workman was repairing a transformer during a blinding rain, and his body came in contact with an exposed wire carrying 4,000 volts of electricity.

ALVA CLINGMAN
Alva Clingman, 27, former resident of Springfield, died at Tulsa, Okla., yesterday afternoon as the result of injuries received Thursday night when he fell from a telephone pole on which he was working. He is survived by his wife and 3-year-old son (error). Funeral services will be held at Tulsa Monday.
