Allan Scott Andrews, 41, passed away on Friday, November 7, 2008, at his home.

Born in Allentown, PA, Al was a Master Chief in the U.S. Navy. He was still serving on active duty with 23 years of service. He was a member of Lynnhaven United Methodist Church.

Al is survived by his wife, Wendi Michelle Andrews; his son, Spencer Kyle Andrews, and his daughter, Riley Grace Andrews, all of Virginia Beach, VA; mother, Elsie Andrews of Suffolk, VA; three brothers, Terry Allan Andrews and wife Sandi of Northampton, PA, Kerry Scott Andrews of Jersey City, NJ, twin brother, Scott Allan Andrews and wife Chrissy of Chesapeake, VA; and sister, Sharon Eisold and husband Dutch of Northampton, PA.

A funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, 11 a.m. at Lynnhaven United Methodist Church with Rev. Ralph Satter and Rev. Tom Maddrey officiating. The burial with full military honors will follow in Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery, Suffolk, VA. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the USO, P.O. Box 7250, Hampton, VA 23666-0250.
