Funeral Held For Mrs. Davis
Funeral services for Mrs. Bessie Gene Davis, 60, were held Tuesday, August 2 at George County Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. J.B. Davis and Rev. M.L. Dykes officiated the 11:30 a.m. services. Interment was in Crossroads Methodist Church Cemetery with George County Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Davis died Sunday, July 31 at Forrest General Hospital. A former resident of Lucedale, she lived in Beaumont. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and was born in Rankin County.
She is survived by three daughters, Nancy Davis, Jackson; Zenia Krestting, Berny, Tex., and Ruby Williams, Moss Point; two sons, Clint Davis, Berny, Tex., and; David Sparks, Brookhaven; her mother, Mrs. Lula Lenora Bray, Houston, Miss.; five brothers, David Kline, Houston, Miss.; Troy Kline and William Kline, both of Pascagoula, Sam Kline, Agricola, and James Kline, Leakesville; one sister, Nita Dunn, New York, NY; and five grandchildren.
