Emma, daughter of Nicholas and Virginia Beal, was born May 19th, 1877. Was united in marriage June 29th, 1913 to James W. McKissick. She departed this life at the home of her mother, Mrs. Nicholas Beal, Aug. 31st 1915, aged 38 years, 3 months and 12 days. She was born and lived on the same farm all her life. She was a kind and loving wife and daughter and will be greatly missed by all. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband, mother and sister and a host of friends.

We wish to express our heartfelt thanks to the dear friends who were so kind to us during the sickness and death of our beloved wife, daughter and sister, not a word of the many expressions of sympathy can ever be forgotten by us and our sorrow has taught us to appreciate more than ever the value of friendship.
