Mrs. Theda Jane Tracy Adams, widow of the late Albert Adams, died Thursday morning at 5:45 o'clock at her home on the river cross road following a stroke on Monday. She was 52 years of age.
Mrs. Adams had been in poor health since the death of her husband on February 13, last, following a long illness.
She was born in Massena on February 18, 1873, daughter of Diah and Harriet Cross Tracy, and all her life had been spent there. Her marriage to Mr. Adams took place on October 12, 1901, he being a farmer.
Mrs. Adams is survived by one sister, Mrs. N.A. Hopson, and one brother, Clarence Tracy, both of Massena. The body was brought to the home of her sister, 100 North Main Street, from where the funeral was held Saturday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock, Rev. F.E. Loan, of the Methodist Episcopal church officiating. Burial was made at Pine Grove Cemetery.
