He was a WW II Veteran serving in the Army in Germany as a Basic Infantryman and a Private First Class Rifleman. He was an ordained minister a farmer and a carpenter, who after retiring enjoyed flower gardening, building concrete animals & people and making clocks. He loved music and dancing. He and Lena won several awards for their dancing.
Surviving are seven children Doris (Jim) Hutchison of Fl., Richard (Judy) Pritchard of Ia., Delia (Bob) Weston of Mo., Barbara (Don) Siefkas of Fl., Judy (David) Philips of Mo., Kenneth (Becky) Pritchard of Il., Ronald (Kathy) Pritchard of Tx., and two step children Donald (Jeanette) Coch of Mo., and Cheryl Crimm of Mo.. He had 18 Grandchildren, 35 Great Grandchildren and 7 Great Great Grandchildren.
