Born to Clarence Sr. and Linda (Palmer) Pate. Shorty had 2 children, Derek Pate, and Amanda Pate. One brother Matthew,two sisters Belinda,and Felicia. he was preceded in death by one sister Tonya pate. He worked at Excel in Beardstown. Shorty was a great guy, doting father,and the greatest friend you could ask for. He was simply alot of fun..... Shorty had a little too much fun one night, which induced a seizure,or caused a heart condition, and he was later pronounced dead at Culbertson Memorial Hospital.
