TAHLEQUAH – Carolyn Marie Oxford was born February 10, 1967, in Port Sulphur, La., to Clarence and Koleta Vinyard. She passed from this life to be with her Lord on Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2008, at Muskogee Regional Medical Center.Carolyn married Larry Oxford on March 28, 1983 in Clarksville, Texas. During their 25-year marriage, they resided mostly in the Tahlequah area.Carolyn lived her life as a homemaker; she spent the last couple of years fighting the greatest battle of all, cancer.She was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church in Stilwell, where she dedicated her life to the Lord.
