A member of Oakland United Methodist Church, Mrs. Chappell, 90 of Sharpe died Monday at Lourdes Hospital. Graveside services were held Wednesday with the Rev. Randy Stacy officiating. A native of Lyon Co., she had retired from Florsheim Shoe Co. after 35 years. Surviving are a sister and a niece; both of Sharpe. Preceded in death by her husband, Edward Chappell, 2 sisters and 1 brother. Her parents were Jim and Evlyn Yates Barefield.
