Sheryl Harrison - JOHNSON CITY
Sheryl Ann Harrison, 51, Johnson City, TN, died on the morning of November 12, 2008, at North Side Hospital in Johnson City, TN.

Although Sheryl suffered many tribulations throughout her life, including the condition of Down Syndrome, she brought joy to the lives of many through her tenderness, innocence and unconditional love.

Sheryl is survived by many friends who were touched by her inspirational life, including those at the Dawn of Hope, the staff of Lighthouse Independent Living, the staff of ARC of Washington Co., and her co-conservators, Jessica and Jeremy White, along with their daughter, Kylie, and other family members in Roanoke, VA.

She will be sorely missed, but great comfort is taken in knowing that Sheryl finally got to experience the sentiments as expressed in her favorite song, "I'll Fly Away."

Sheryl will be laid to rest with family members in Rockwood, TN. A memorial service is planned for friends to be held at Dawn of Hope in the near future.
