Christensen Rites at Walnut
Funeral services for Jesse L. Christensen, 64, who died Friday at his home in Walnut, were held Monday afternoon in the Ross Funeral Home, Walnut, with the Rev. Ray F. Baldwin, pastor of the Walnut Methodist Church, officiating. Hymns were sung by Everette Larson and Mrs. Richard DeWaele, with Mrs. Otto Yonk as organist.
Casket bearers were Loyal Wallace, Harold J. Wallis, Arnold Perrizo, Dallis B. Wallis and Frank Odell. Interment was in the Walnut Cemetery.
He was born June 11, 1903, in Bigelow, Minn., the son of Peter and Anna Sierks Christensen and had lived in Walnut since 1911.
Survivors include two brothers, Ernest and Herbert, Sr., Walnut, and a sister, Mrs. Elmer (Ella) Albus, Sr., Rock Falls, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Bart and Harry.
