William Harry Heydt
William Harry Heydt, the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. William S. Heydt was born in Las Vegas, N.M., April 11, 1901 and died in Wellington, Kans., May 14, 1918.

Death comes with all its heartaches and its tears and the death of Harry Heydt, has caused a pall of genuine sorrow over the entire community.

Harry never had been fortunate enough to enjoy good health, but with all was always cheerful and hopeful until the last.

All that human aid and deeds of love and kindness could do, were of no avail. We fully realize that death came to him as a happy release from pain and suffering but that does not lessen the grief of the stricken parents, sisters and brother. He possessed the rare gift of true friendship and those who knew him best, could always rely on him as a true friend.

At a very young age Harry was confirmed into the Episcopal church, which he always loved and was a true and loyal member of until his death.

Services will be held at the home 914 E Harvey avenue tomorrow Thursday at 3:00 conducted by the Rev. Henry Lee Virden, Rector of Trinity church of Winfield, assisted by the choir of St. John's Lutheran church of this city.
