At a very young age, Alcie was first married to Rudolph Pharis and from this union two daughters were born, Neva Mae and Ernestene. She was second married to Ted Specht, with whom she had one daughter, Annabelle. While married to Ted, they moved around the southeast for his job a road construction worker. During the last few years of Ted's time working, they lived in Vidor, Texas. After Ted retired, they moved to Logansport, Louisiana to be nearer to her mother, Allie Hilton, her brother, Doc Stillwell and other family.
She was a homemaker and had an exceptionally gentle and kind spirit. She always looked forward to visiting her grandchildren in Texas, Louisiana and, later in Georgia.
In her last few years, Alice suffered from dementia and lived in a nursing home in Mansfield, Louisiana.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Theodore William Specht.
