Manlius Woman Passes Away In Daughter's Home
Manlius - Mrs. Lena Krebs, 64, of Manlius, passed away Thursday at 5:30 p.m. at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Herbert Christensen of Walnut. Her body was taken to the Johnson Funeral Home in Manlius, and will be returned to her late home, where friends may call.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Manlius and committal will be in the Manlius cemetery.
Mrs. Krebs was born May 28, 1884, in Bureau County, daughter of Chris and Sophia Heidenreich. She was married to Harry Krebs on Feb. 6, 1907, in Greenville township. Her husband died Sept. 4, 1940.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Herbert (Viola) Christensen of Walnut and Mrs. Lucille Wiggim of Princeton; one son, Earl Krebs of Manlius; eight grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Frances Raabe of Manlius and one brother, Albert Heidenreich of Walnut. She was preceded in death by another sister, Mrs. Mary Rettke.
