Son of Albert & Mary (Rodgers) Longwell. Father of Opal & Mabel. Lewis was born in Wichita KS. At an early age, about 19, went to the area of Quimby IA to get work on farms as a hired hand. There he met Emma Jones and they were married. They had their 2 daughters and raised them in the Quimby area. After the daughters were Married Lewis & Emma moved to Oklahoma to farm, then in 1915, moved to Billings, MT to farm in the Rapelje and Molt area NW of Billings. Lewis died suddenly of a heart attack at the age of 64 and was buried in Mountview Cemetery at Billings. Opal married Ray Bollin and had 8 children. (See link to Opal) Mabel married Glen Eubank and had 2 children, Cecil Eubank, and Cleo (Eubank) King.
