Mrs. Iva Ruth Kreh, 56, of 118 Nelson St. died at her home Monday at 10:35 a.m. She had been in failing health for 18 months.
Mrs. Kreh was born March 17, 1911 in Loudon Township, Seneca County, Ohio, and was the daughter of Amos and Alice Sharpe Luman. Hear early life was spent in Old Fort. S former resident of Bellevue and Tiffin, she had lived in Clyde for two years. She was married to Clarence Kreh of Clyde, December 24, 1927. He preceded her in death May 18, 1964. She attended the First Missionary Church.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Mary Alice Ritter of Tiffin; sons, William of Springlake, N.C., Clarence of Clyde, Lester of Fostoria, Gerald of McComb, and Russell of Tiffin; 13 grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Hattie Peters of Clay Center, Mrs. Ella Babcock of Bloomville, and Mrs. Marjorie Kendrick of Santa Fe, N.M.; brothers Harvey and Edwin, both of Tiffin, Two brothers Willis and William, also preceded her in death.
Funeral Services are at 1:30 p.m. today (Thursday) in the Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home. The Rev. Herman Wagner, pastor of the First Missionary Church will officiate and burial will be in the Pleasant Union Cemetery, Old Fort. The family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society or the Heart Fund in lieu of flowers.
