Kolton Lee Real, 9-year old beloved son of Serena Kaye (Rinker) and Steve Ray Real, passed away Saturday, Nov.8,2008, in his home.
He was born Feb 9, 1999, in Orangeburg, S.C., and had lived in the Chesapeake community of Lawrence County for the past three years. Kolton attended the Mt.Vernon Intermediate School, played basketball, football, and baseball for Mt.Vernon, and even played on the All-Star baseball team as a pitcher. He was a member of the Chesapeake Baptist Church. Kolton was a fun-loving boy who will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his parents, Steve Real of Bella Vista, Ark., and Serena Real of Chesapeake; his brother, Keaton Real; his maternal grandmother, Sonya Rinker of Chesapeake; his paternal grandparents, Kenneth and Joan Real of Purdy; two uncles, Lafe Rinker of Chesapeake, and Russ Lowe and wife Lanea of Butterfield; his aunt, Vicki Evans and a host of friends.
His maternal grandfather, Kenny Rinker, preceded him in death.
Services will be at 2pm Friday, Nov.14,at First Baptist Church, Mt.Vernon, with the Rev.Jay Hill officiating, under the direction of Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home, Mt.Vernon.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Kolton's memory at Liberty Bank, P.O. Box 109, Mt.Vernon, MO. 65712 or Mid Missouri Bank, P.O. Box 228, Mt.Vernon, MO. 65712
He is buried beside his Paw Paw Kenny.
