Mrs. Hietter, 94, Taken by Death
Funeral services for Mrs. Bridget Theresa Coyle Hietter 94, of 303 S. University St., will be held at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at the Wright & Salmon Mortuary and at 9 at St. Mark's Catholic Church.
Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Princeville.
Friends may call at the mortuary after 3 p.m. today. A general rosary will be said at 8 p.m. The Sodality will recite the rosary at 3:30 p.m.
Mrs. Hietter died at her home at 8:30 a.m. Thursday. She was the widow of Frank Hietter, who died Feb. 1, 1918. They were married at Kickapoo Sept. 18, 1883.
She was born at Edinburgh Scotland, Sept. 28, 1861, a daughter of Emanuel and Frances Smeetam Coyle. She was a member of St. Mark's Catholic Church and the Sodality there.
Surviving are 5 daughters, Sister M. Teresita of Bedford, Ind., Sister M. Francis Theresa of Cincinnati, Ohio, Mrs. Mary Brutcher and Miss Rose Hietter, both of Peoria and Mrs. Anna Weaver of San Francisco, Calif.; 2 sons, Leo Hietter of Princeville and John Hietter of Chicago; three sisters, Mrs. Mary German of Yankton, S.D., Mrs. Sophie Colgan of Peoria and Mrs. Grace Heagney of Bottsford, Wis.; 23 grandchildren; and 36 great-grandchildren.
