*Concord Primitive Baptist Church Record:

March 25th, 1848 - The Baptist Church of Christ at Concord met according to appointment and after sermons by Brethren Barron and Duke sat in conference. Received by letter Brother Hiram Barron an ordained preacher of the gospel and Sister Phereby Barron, his wife.

*Note: Concord Church was originally organized 1838 in Chambers County and later moved to Randolph County.
